I am absolutely thrilled to announce that my abstract sculptures, Nature and Nurture, have been selected as finalists for the Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition and Awards in 2024!
For years, I’ve admired the stunning sculptures on display at Yering Station and always dreamed of entering this prestigious event. This year, I finally took the leap and submitted my work—and I’m over the moon to have made it to the finals! 🌚
The exhibition, which is open to the public, will run until Sunday, October 27th. This is a fantastic opportunity to see not only my work but also other incredible pieces from talented artists. The awards presentation will take place on Sunday at 12:30 PM, followed by a relaxing afternoon in the beautiful Yering Station gardens. Bring along a picnic and enjoy a day surrounded by art and nature, with wine from the Yering Station Cellar Door to complete the experience.
My pieces, Nature and Nurture, explore the themes of growth and care, capturing the essence of our interaction with the world around us. Each sculpture, created in the abstract art form, invites viewers to reflect on how these fundamental forces shape our lives and the environment.
